CLICK ON VIEW IMAGES, I HAVE OVER 145 PICS OF THE BUILD HERE.

10/23/05 I have gathered parts for about 6 months to build this car and finaly found the body to use. It was an Ebay deal that was sitting in feild in Mn. for about 20 years. My buddy Johnny did a 2 day road cruise in a snow storm to get it.

2/04/05 I have it on the rails now and I have some 12 spokes up front with Halibrand Sprints on the rear. I still need to set up the rear suspention and do a lot of cage work. If you click "view images" under the main pic there is a bunch pictures of the car at varius stages with some of the parts I'm using. Yes it will be a street car.

2/16/05 The motor is at my buddy's ( Anton from Michaels Racing Engines) getting done right now (the one pictured is just a 331 I started with, I already aced the blockhuggers for some zoomies). It is a 392 with a 1271 Lenco Big WInd blower that is out getting dow 7 coated right now (yes Lenco). We are going to get the cubes up to about 472 with a 4.515 stroke crank. There is also a Lenco ST/1200 4 speed to transmit the power.

(6/06/06). I have just been gathering parts for the rest of the car I'm trying not to use any parts manufactured after 1970.

10/20/06 Got the back half of the frame set in and the body is sitting on the frame correctly.

11/06/06 Instead of doing the top we got the motor plates cut. Its starting to look more like a car! Chop top to come soon!

1/01/07 The last pic of us loading the car to take it a buddy's house to start chopping the top. This should be fun!

1/08/07 It was a productive weekend! In a Saturday and Sunday morning we got the top over 1/2 way done. We ended up taking out 3.5" And it looks good. A big thank you to Mat Thrasher for his welding and top chopping expertise.

1/25/07 The car is back home and I have been taking some of the wood out and replacing it with metal/ Also got some brackets done for the headlights. It should be going to Al Morgan's soon for the Roll Cage!!!

2/18/07 The car is now at Al Morgans shop for the roll cage. We are doing a pretty extensive cage in the car. The crank I bought was no good so I got a new Moldex Billet crank with a 4.5 stroke, motor will end up being 461 c.i.). Once I have the car back from the chassis shop I can measure the deck height to order rods and pistons!!!

2/27/07 Just added some pics of the cage, We are well under way and it is coming out just how the plans called for. A big thanks to Al Morgan of the Pro Street Chassis shop in Norton, Oh!!!! <p>

3/18/07 The car is back home and I have been working on getting it mocked back up. The cage and zoomies came out awsome!I think I will start working on the tin next.

3/31/07 I have been working like crazy to get all the brackets I need welded to the frame and weld the supports I need to put the tin in place. It was a nice day and I wanted to get some good out of the garage pics. I got the bright idea to hook a bar to the car and my Suburban to haul it down my stupid driveway. The bar broke and I had the car stuck in the drive till I was able to get a few buddies over to help me push it back up. My three year old said "you should have just left in the garage daddy"..

5/05/07 I have not been working on the car due to the purchase of a new house. I should be back on it by the fall. Maybe if all goes well by spring I can fire it up.

7/04/07 The garage is done and I'm back at it! The block has been dropped off at Michaels Racing Engines to get some rods and pistons ordered and I have got all the cardboard templates cut for the interior. I still have a lot of wood that needs removed and reinforced with steel. This wil be the next few weeks project.

9/28/07 I have gotten most of the tin done in the interior and the car will hopefully get the chassis painted soon. Once that is done I can start assembly. I also added some pictures of the carbs that I will be using. They are Rochester 2 barrels that Mad Max from Buzzard Carbs milled out. They should be flowing abount 700 CFM a peice. Should be enought to feed the Hemi.

10/20/07 Big Thanks to Al Morgan from the Pro Street Chassis Shop for picking my Hotrod up (in his 1948 Diamond T flatbed) and taking back to his place where he will clean up my welds, and get the car ready for the painter. I also put in some pics of the supercharger set up. Wow this may be done for spring!!

11/02/07 The car is coming along great. Al Morgan has the doors to the point where they open better than my new Lincoln. And a big plus is all the body lines are good. I just got the dash back from paint and got it assembled. The supercharger with carbs, fuel log and lines are all together. Also a a big thanks to Bill Adams from Heritage Industrial Finishing's in Akron for doing outstanding work on all of my powder

coating!

12/05/07 I just back from Larry Duhmire's who is doing the bodywork and paint. It is down to bare metal. It should be in epoxy primer by the middle of next week and I should have it back ready to put together by christmas!!

12/12/07 The epoxy primer is on and we should have some paint on real soon.

12/23/07 I just got it bach and have spent the last two days putting parts back on.

12/28/07 It's amazing how much you can get done in a few 16 hour days. I have got 80% of the wiring brake lines and fuel lines done. Tomorrow I will be dropping of the rest of the motor parts.

12/30/07 With the help of a neighbor It is now sitting on the wheels and tires.

1/08/08 Wish I could say the pistons have come in but no such luck. On the brighter side the lettering got airbrushed on tonight, The car is wired and she is looking good.

1/14/08 The pistons are in in. Hoping to get the motor back in a month or so!!

2/10/08 Not sure what happened but thing's weren't happening with the motor were it was at. I have pulled the motor from the guy who was going to be putting it together and have taken it to Medina Mountain Motors. They came highly recomended. I'm anxius to see how this works out. Other than that the car is all together brakes, wiring..

2/01/08 Door panels in and the weather should break soon. Motor is coming along nice.

3/14/08 Al Morgan got the block and is machining a peice to bolt the starter too. He is also notching out the oil pan to go over the stud girdle. He is an artist with metal.

4/29/08 It's done! With a big thanks to Jodi and Brian at Medina Mountain Motors. The motor is done and looks have came out awsome! I ended up with about 8-1 compresion and had to buy a lot of parts twice and had to add 8 slugs of mallory to the crank but I should be dropping it in this weekend!

5/3/08 The motor is in after 2 late nates and long days! I'm hoping to make The Gasser meet at Thompson the end of the month.

5/10/08 Dropped the car back off at Al Morgans and he is finishing some little stuff like mounting the radiator and such.

5/30/08 It should be done next week. Looking very forward to the first cruise. Maybe make it to the Super Summit Show.

7/22/08 The car is running and there is some pictures from Race Rock at Dragway 42. I wasn't able to get on the track cause of a no fuel filter issue. I also had some tuning to do, it is done and I will be going to a local show tomorrow. I'm gonna tow it there and maybe drive it around once I get there and get a few miles on her.

8//02/08 If you go to youtube and search Wanted Man 34 there is some video of it running. No big long smokey burnouts yet.

Thanks for looking! Throw me a vote!
